AT Ukrzaliznytsia made changes to several commuter flights on the Fastovsky section due to the Russian attack on the Kyiv region on December 27. UZ reported this.

Ukrzaliznytsia noted that this mode of operation leads to the accumulation of trains and the generation of delays of up to 2 hours, and sometimes more.

During the period of these works and in order to minimize delays, long-distance trains run on backup tracks, where it is not always possible to board and disembark passengers. In this regard, the sale of tickets to Fastov for some trains is temporarily closed.

“We also analyzed the boarding and disembarking of passengers on long-distance trains along Fastov - for 7 trains this is less than 5 people per day, so from January 13 these 7 trains will pass through Fastov without stopping. This will significantly speed them up, while all key messages for Fastov are preserved,” the company added..

From December 27, UZ introduces traffic restrictions and will temporarily not operate the 5 least populated daytime commuter flights. At the same time, traffic in the direction of the capital, Kozyatyn, Zhitomir, Boyarka, Vyshneve, Bila Tserkva, Mironovka, Tarasovka, Slavutych, Chernigov and others will be maintained.

Capital flights will operate in a composition of 8, and some 10 cars, in order to transport even more passengers.
