More than 17 million Ukrainians have applied for a state payment in the amount of 1,000 hryvnia, of which more than 3.3 million were issued to children through the Diya application.. At the moment, 13 million citizens have already received financial assistance, said Prime Minister Yulia Sviridenko.
The money received through “Diya” can be spent until the end of June next year on utilities, the purchase of medicines, Ukrainian-made products (without excisable goods), books, as well as on charity or postal services, Sviridenko noted.
For those who submitted applications through Ukrposhta, the period for using payments was extended until the end of February 2026.
As of last week, payments can also be applied to grocery retail chains. Acceptance of applications for payment continues until December 24 inclusive.
