Colonel Valentin Manko, who is being considered for the position of commander of the Assault Troops, did not disclose restricted information when he published a photo with maps on TikTok. “Suspilny” was informed about this by the Main Communications Directorate of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

It is noted that a professional analysis of the photo published by Manko was carried out. It was found that the maps do not reveal spatial and temporal indicators of operations (combat actions) and do not reveal the units that took part in them.

“The information reflected on the maps does not provide for the leakage of information with limited access, including due to a significant delay in the time of their publication,” the department said.

They noted that Manko’s post does not contain critical or sensitive information that could be used by Russian intelligence against Ukrainian defenders.

Let us remind you that the military and volunteers criticized Manko online due to the publication of photos with maps. In addition, the colonel filmed a video accompanied by Russian music and found out who he was from the series “The Boy’s Word”.

Previously, Manko stated that the cards do not have information marked “secret” or “for official use”, and he allegedly put marks on the card himself.
