The Shevchenkovsky District Court of Kyiv announced the verdict in the case of the murder of 16-year-old Maxim Materukhin in April 2024. Former Employee Artyom Kosovo was awarded a lifelong opinion, reports "

According to the investigation, on April 7, 2024, Kosov in a state of alcohol and drug intoxication quarreled with a teenager at a funicular station and pushed him to the window. Maxim Materukhin fell, broke his head, got a cut of his neck and died a few minutes later.

It is noted that the defense side agreed with the severity of the crime, but insisted that it was committed by negligence. Parents of the deceased consider the verdict fair. The accused pleaded guilty and repented, but stated that he did not want to kill a teenager.

Recall that in June the mother of the deceased Maxim stated that the case of the murder of her son was standing still because Kosov’s lawyers did not come to the meetings. Prosecutor General Ruslan Kravchenko promised that a fair sentence would be accepted in the case.
