In addition to annual leave, the military during martial law can take a vacation for family reasons or for other respectful reasons.

The list of good reasons during the operation of martial law is not defined by legislation. But you can focus on the provisions of paragraph 9 of Article 10-1 of the Law "

marriage;

Healing state of health or death of relatives;

Fires or other natural disasters that suffered the family of a soldier;

Other exceptional cases when the presence of a soldier in the family is necessary.

To issue a vacation, the military must indicate in the report what kind of family circumstances or good reasons prompt him to go on such vacation, as well as if possible to provide the relevant documents for the report. If this is not done, then on vacation they may refuse.

" The difficulty of receiving documents should be noted in the report, ”the report said.

It should be noted that the vacation for family reasons is provided without taking into account the time necessary for travel within Ukraine to the place of vacation and vice versa, but not more than two days one way.
