Universal mobilization and martial law continues in Ukraine. During this period, military -liable men who receive summons are subject to conscription. During martial law, traveling abroad for men aged 18 to 60 is limited. But there are some exceptions. Who can cross the state border.

The Ministry of Justice noted that the rules for crossing the state border by citizens of Ukraine stated that military servants who are not subject to draft for military service on mobilization have the right to cross the border.

In accordance with paragraph 1 of the first part of Article 23 of the Law "

" Despite this, the rules only indicate the procedure for crossing the state border of a reserved employee on a business trip. There is no clear regulation of the border during vacation - there is no clear regulatory regulation, ”the report said.

The department added that it is possible to find out about the procedure for crossing the border for this category of persons exclusively from the explanations of the State Border Service of Ukraine.

" 2-14 rules cannot cross the state border for the purpose of vacation, ”the report said.

Also, to go abroad, the employee must have the following documents on vacation:.

Passport of a citizen of Ukraine to travel abroad;

Paper Military Association or Electronic version in the “Reserve+” application (must contain a reservation mark and is included in the “Oberig” system);

an extract from the vacation order or a copy of it (must contain information about the country of departure, stay, position of the employee);

Other documents to confirm the purpose of the trip.

The Ministry of Justice noted that an employee who plans to go on vacation abroad should not have prohibitions that would interfere with traveling outside the country or violate military registration rules.
