Despite the war that the Russian Federation begun, Ukrainians continue to receive pensions and other social payments. In particular, pension payments for military personnel who have received disability are provided as a result of the war. The Main Directorate of the Pension Fund of Ukraine (PFU) in the Luhansk region told what amount of payment such persons can receive.

How the size of the military pension with disabilities as a result of the war is calculated.

The PFU explained that the main amount of the pension to the military related to persons with disabilities as a result of the war is calculated as a percentage, depending on the established group of disability:.

I group - 100%,.

II group - 80%,.

III Group - 60% of the corresponding amounts of cash allowance.

So, according to the resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers from 28. 12. 2011 No. 1381 “On increasing the level of social protection of the most vulnerable layers of the population”, the calculated main size of the pension increases by 25%. An increase is simultaneously assigned to the size of the pension:.

For war disabled people I group I 50% - 1180.50 hryvnias;

For disabled people of the II group of 40% - 944.40 hryvnias;

For disabled people of the III group 30% - 708.30 hryvnias and targeted monetary assistance established in fixed amounts depending on the established group of disability, namely, disabled people of groups receive 70.00 hryvnias, and disabled people and III groups of 50.00 hryvnia.

The PFU added that in accordance with the current legislation, in the case when the monthly amount of pension payments, taking into account the allowances, raises, additional pensions, targeted monetary assistance, indexation amounts and other surcharges for pensions established by law, except for special merits to Ukraine, from March 1, 2025:.

III groups - 9478.00 hryvnias, such persons are paid a monthly state address assistance to a pension in the amount that is not enough before the specified size.
