The legal owner of the company of the PIN-UP online casino Igor Zotko, who in January in January, was detained on suspicion of laundering Russian money, could plan an attempt on the murder of journalist Yevgeny Plinsky, who in his Telegram channel for a long time exposed the company's activities with Russian roots. Information became known during the court session of the Pechersky District Court, which last week considered the issue of extending the detention of Igor Zotko.
As Plinsky noted, during a speech in court, the prosecutor read out the correspondence fragments from the seized mobile phone Zotka with the actual owner of the PIN-UP Russian Dmitry Punin and his wife, CEO PIN-UP Global, Marina Ilyina.
In the correspondence, Ilyin states that " Zotko, in turn, replied that he was not against such a step, but Dmitry Punin offered to pay “this end of the story” and says that he could “transfer to the work to the Odessites”.
Plinsky noted that such actions, according to the Criminal Code of Ukraine, can be qualified on h.. 4 tbsp. 345-1: “The threat to the murder, violence or destruction or damage to property against the journalist, his close relatives or family members in connection with the implementation of legal professional activities committed by the organized group”.
“At this stage, together with lawyers, I develop a strategy for further legal actions.
