“The terrible fuel oil disaster of the Black Sea has reached our Odessa shores. After storms on the sandy passage near the Katranka recreational zone, near the Danube Biosphere Reserve and in the Tuzlovskiy Liman National Natural Park, a storm was carried out by a storm that spilled after the accident of rashist tankers in the Kerch Strait. I wrote that the consequences of such ecological disasters have no boundaries and that thousands of tons of fuel oil that have fallen into the sea will lead to great trouble for the natural ecosystems of the Black Sea and its biodiversity, ”Rusev wrote on Facebook.

It is still quite cold and the fuel oil fractions are solid. But with the onset of heat, the catastrophe will only unfold - the coastal zone and the seabed will be covered with a layer of fuel oil. The authorities of the Odessa region will have very large challenges in the recreational area of \u200b\u200bthe region in the spring and summer.

Now the National Park team is conducting an examination of various sections of Peresyp.

Recall, the Black and Azov Seas, which already suffer from shelling of Russian invaders, have received another environmental problem: oil products pollution. According to Russian Telegram channels, both tankers were transporting fuel oil. There were 4.25 thousand tons of fuel oil on the Volgonft-212, “Volgonft-239”-4.3 thousand tons. That is, more than 8 thousand tons of oil products were at sea. Although, according to Russian official data, approximately 4,000 tons flowed into the sea, knowing their ability to lie, we can assume that the figure is reduced, if not doubled, then almost. Birds, dolphins and fish are dying. The coastal area has already been polluted for hundreds of kilometers, and it is unknown how long this will continue. Ecologists and experts agree that the damage to the ecosystem caused at least $ 14 billion. This is the biggest environmental disaster in the last few decades.

Since it was precisely at this time that intensive fishing was always carried out in the Kerch Strait, we can talk about yet another damage.

As you know, on December 15, as a result of a strong storm, two Russian tankers crashed in the Kerch Strait-Volgonft-212 and Volgoneft-239, which transported products for Rosneft. For the past six months, they have run between the port of the Caucasus and oil refineries on the Volga, delivering fuel oil and heavy oil fuel.
