The High Anti-Corruption Court upheld the claim of the SAPO prosecutor for the recovery of a 3-room apartment worth more than 1.9 million UAH, which was formally registered with the mother of the deputy head of the Poltava Regional TsK and SP, but was actually used by him and his family. The SAPO press service reports that this decision was made on January 20.

As it turned out during the investigation, based on the NACP data and other evidence collected by the prosecutor, the official’s mother purchased an apartment in the center of Poltava in 2023, despite the lack of sufficient official income for such a purchase.

It was established that in fact the apartment was used by the official himself and his family.

Taking into account these facts, the prosecutor filed a claim in court to recover this asset, the origin of which raises reasonable doubts, in favor of the state. The court, having heard all the arguments of the parties, supported the position of the prosecutor's office and satisfied the claim in full.

The court decision can be appealed within 30 days from the date of drawing up the full text of the verdict.
