Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Alexander Syrsky issued an order banning the transfer of highly qualified Air Force specialists to the infantry. At the same time, the current pace of mobilization does not meet the needs of the army. He said this in an interview with military journalist Andrei Tsaplienko on Sunday, January 19.

. Definitely, these are specialists on whom money was spent, who have experience, and who in fact there is no one to replace,” said the commander-in-chief.

. And, of course, our task is to prevent... someone from this category that I named (who is prohibited from being transferred to the infantry - ed.. ), got to the front,” assured Syrsky.

Earlier, the media reported that specialists from the aviation engineering service of the Air Force were allegedly being transferred to the infantry.. Then the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine stated that such a statement was unreliable and incorrect in relation to the acute shortage of specialists in the aviation engineering service of the Air Force. And only “certain categories” are strengthening the infantry.
