The UCP indicates that a member of the Committee on Transport and Infrastructure during 2022–2023. sent letters on his behalf to the State Border Service of Ukraine with a request to allow 23 men to travel abroad, allegedly as drivers to accompany him outside of Ukraine.

“23 cases have been documented when, on the basis of letters from a people’s deputy, 18 men of military age crossed the state border without him, because at the time of their crossing he was either already abroad or did not leave the country at all,” the SBI said in a statement..

Law enforcement officers noted that three men did not return to the territory of Ukraine.

It is noted that this deputy sometimes required up to five drivers at the same time for trips abroad.

He is also suspected of using his official position and official forgery. Now searches are ongoing at the place of residence of Bondarev and other people involved in this. He was served with a petition to choose a preventive measure in the form of detention.

The National Police of Ukraine yesterday in 19 regions of Ukraine conducted more than 200 searches in criminal proceedings on illegal border crossing by military personnel.
