Since early morning, the National Police of Ukraine has been conducting more than 200 searches throughout Ukraine in criminal proceedings for illegal border crossing by military personnel, the department reported on Friday morning, January 17.

In particular, searches are taking place in 19 regions of Ukraine involved in illegal transactions..

According to law enforcement officials, violations of the law were committed through fraudulent actions, forgery of documents, unauthorized interference in the operation of electronic registers and bribery of officials.

Last week, police reported more than 600 simultaneous searches as part of the first stage of a special operation to block channels for the export of men of military age abroad.
