One of the main topics of the meeting was a discussion of the results of US assistance to Ukraine in 2024 and planning for interaction between teams of defense ministries in 2025. Among the priority goals of Ukraine in 2025 are strengthening the defense forces along the line of combat, improving the combat effectiveness of units, strengthening the protection of the Ukrainian sky, as well as the development of the military-industrial complex. The parties discussed the status of previously announced investments in the Ukrainian production of UAVs and the development of other joint projects in the field of defense industry. Special attention was paid to further US assistance in relation to specific types of weapons and ammunition. We also synchronized positions on Ukrainian needs and American capabilities.
