The Cabinet of Ministers fired Deputy Minister for Veterans Affairs Ruslana Velichko-Trifonyuk, who was accused of unethical behavior.
“The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine dismissed Ruslana Vladimirovna Velichko-Trifonyuk from the post of Deputy Minister of Veterans Affairs of Ukraine for European Integration,” said government representative in the Verkhovna Rada Taras Melnichuk in his Telegram.
Before this, the Ministry of Veterans Affairs announced that it had initiated the dismissal of Velichko-Trifonyuk, who served as Deputy Minister for European Integration, after receiving information about inappropriate treatment of one of the department’s employees.
On the same day, the head of the Department of European Integration and International Cooperation, Evgeniy Shibalov, said on Facebook that he left the ministry due to humiliation from a female leader.
