When do summer holidays start in schools?.

In Ukraine, the Ministry of Education and Science (MES) has provided an additional month to overcome educational gaps due to the war. The start and end dates of the academic year are determined by government decree No. 782.

But educational institutions and local authorities can independently determine the dates of holidays and last call.

In most schools the last bell will ring on May 31st.

Thus, the summer holidays will last from June 29 to August 31, 2024.

Also in June, schools will undergo certification and compensatory classes to overcome educational losses.
