In Ukraine, citizens who do not have enough funds to pay for housing and communal services on their own can apply for a subsidy from the state. The Pension Fund of Ukraine (PFU) told whether it is possible to apply for a subsidy in “Dii”.

The PFU explained that since March, applicants for a housing subsidy have received another opportunity to submit a simplified application - through the Dii portal.

“The pilot project, which maximally simplified the procedure for citizens to apply for a housing subsidy, was introduced in accordance with the Government Decree dated 13. 06. 2023 No. 601 “On the implementation of a pilot project to improve the procedure for providing subsidies to the population to reimburse the costs of paying for housing and communal services, purchasing solid and liquid heating household fuel,” the message says.

The PFU also added that since July last year, a simplified procedure for submitting an application for a subsidy has been in effect:.

in paper form - through the PFU service center or through authorized officials of the executive body of the village, town, city council or by mail;

in electronic form – through the PFU electronic services web portal via the link.

The PFU noted that in an application submitted under a simplified procedure, it is necessary to enter only personal data: last name, first name and patronymic, passport series and number, registration number of the taxpayer registration card (RNOKPP) of the applicant and persons included in the household, address and account.

“The remaining data necessary to determine a household’s eligibility for a housing subsidy is obtained from state registers,” the statement said..
