According to the International Alzheimer's Association, the underdiagnosis of dementia in the world is about 75% - 41 million people. Early signs and symptoms of Alzheimer's disease include:.

disorientation in time and place;

difficulty doing daily work;

repetition of questions and constant clarification of already known information;

Problems with dialogue and speech disorders;

problems remembering the location of things;

problems with counting;

changes in mood and behavior;

loss of ability to think rationally and make decisions;

disturbance of visual sensations in the perception of space;

Difficulty in navigating space and maintaining balance, distinguishing between colors and contrast;

How to get dementia medication for free.

People with dementia can receive free help from the Nezabutni Charitable Foundation. The foundation provides medications, legal advice, and psychological support for people with dementia and their caregivers. Details can be found on the foundation’s website or by calling 0800 30 88 30.

To get the medicine you need:.

Have a paper prescription for medications from the list and documents to confirm dementia (passport and identification code);

Fill out the application using the link and attach photos of documents. If you have any problems with this, you can call 0800 30 88 30;

Get your medicine at the post office.
