The state helps employers create workplaces for people with disabilities. Employers can now receive compensation for such jobs. The Ministry of Digital Development told how to receive this compensation.

The department noted that in Ukraine, for arranging a workplace for people with disabilities, an employer can apply for compensation through the “Diya” portal.

Fill out an application, indicate information about the person with a disability and the equipped workplace.

Add documents confirming employment, purchase of aids and a certificate from a medical and social expert commission certifying the employee’s disability.

Specify the IBAN of your account.

Sign the application with a qualified electronic signature (CES).

The Ministry of Digital Development explained that the decision on the calculation of compensation is made within 13 working days. If approved, the funds will be credited to the applicant’s account within five working days.

“You can apply for compensation only if an employee with a disability began working for your company within the last 90 days at the time of filing the application,” the department noted.
