Heading into 2024, Ukraine is actively promoting NATO standards, confirming its commitment to defense integration. According to the data of the Intercessor Minister of Defense, Lieutenant General Ivan Gavrilyuk, 309 standards have already been issued, which outweighs the evidence of various NATO member states that have joined the Alliance during the period of continued expansion.
These standards include important aspects such as military management and criteria for the operation of equipment and military equipment.. By 2023, the development of national standards for the life-cycle military cycle system has been completed, bringing it up to the basic NATO standards.
There are approximately 1200 standards in the Alliance, which are constantly updated and subject to revision on all three levels. Please note the ongoing efforts of the member states to improve their defense systems and processes.
Ivan Gavrilyuk also announced that in 2024 it is planned to introduce another 50 NATO standards in the security sector. This is to testify to the invincible resolve of Ukraine, which is consistent with military standards and ensures a high level of integrity with NATO defense systems.
