Servicemen of the 3rd separate regiment named after Svyatoslav Khorobry completed an 11-day training in tactical medicine (rescue fighter course - CLS, Сombat Lifesavers) from the Pulse training organization, which has provided more than 13.5 servicemen with free training in takmed since the beginning of the full-scale war. The Special Operations Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine published a video on the exercises, in which instructors from Odessa, Kyiv, Sumy and Kharkov took part.

“The first four days we studied“ in the classroom ”- we studied the rules for providing assistance and examined different types of injuries. Then we consolidated our skills at the training ground and passed the exams: each participant of the training independently rescued his wounded according to the checklist,” said senior instructor Artem Prokopiev.

The training was aimed at military personnel who do not fulfill their duties as a medical officer, but wish to improve their skills to save the lives of the wounded..

“You can clearly see what the fighters were like at the beginning and what they are now: the level has improved a lot. This will significantly increase the combat capability of the units: the more people who know how to provide emergency assistance, the more likely they are to stay alive, ”stressed Doc, a combat medic of the 3rd separate regiment of the SPP named after. The CLS (rescue fighter) training program teaches the military to stop massive bleeding, maintain airway patency, prevent hypothermia, apply various methods of evacuating the wounded, etc..



Servicemen who successfully complete the course from Pulse get the opportunity to develop further in this direction and be involved as instructors for subsequent trainings..
