In Ukraine, 63% of citizens support the transition to a new church calendar, 18% are against such an idea, another 17% say they are indifferent to this, according to a survey by the Rating sociological group..

Most of all, residents of the western regions (78%) and especially Greek Catholics (92%) support the transition.. Among the parishioners of the UOC (KP) 60% support this initiative. Residents of the southern and eastern regions are somewhat less supportive of the transition to the new calendar, however, even there, about half support.
