Due to the military aggression of the Russian Federation in Ukraine, there have been some changes in the educational process. So, in 2023, graduates will take the national multi-subject test (NMT) instead of UPE. The Ukrainian Center for Educational Quality Assessment (UTSOKO) told whether it is possible to skip the main session of the multitest without good reason and whether after that it is allowed to pass NMT during an additional session. About this writes the publication Osvita. ua.
UCOKO stressed that skipping testing without a good reason will exclude the possibility of passing the national multi-subject test.

The specialists noted that only applicants who miss the main session for objective reasons will be able to take part in the additional testing session..
If an air raid alert has been declared and the multitest participant cannot come to the examination center, this is considered a good reason. Such a person will be able to participate in an additional session of the NMT.
Ukrainian graduates who take NMT abroad should remember that the additional session will not be held in all cities abroad, where the main one will be held. Also, in many cities abroad, the limit of places for holding an additional session has already been exhausted..
“This should be taken into account by applicants who will even have a good reason for missing NMT during the main session, but in order to pass NMT they must return to Ukraine,” summed up the UCOKO.
