Due to full-scale Russian military aggression, many Ukrainians were forced to leave their homes and become internally displaced persons (IDPs). The state provides monthly financial assistance to migrants.

So, in mid-February, Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmihal said that Ukrainians who were forced to leave their homes because of the war would continue to receive assistance from the Government.

“This year we automatically extended payments for IDPs. Last year, support was paid for UAH 53.5 billion,” Shmihal said..
