Social payments: what amount of benefits can low-income families receive

Despite the war, Ukraine continues to pay pensions and other social benefits. There is also assistance for low-income families who live in Ukraine, but for good reasons have an average monthly income less than the subsistence level. The NV publication told how much assistance low-income families can receive.

Assistance for the low-income: what payments can be received.

In December last year, Ukraine increased the subsistence minimum, and now it is UAH 2,589 per person.. Along with this indicator, the sizes of other social payments also changed..

So, in 2023, the amount of the benefit for the low-income is:.

for able-bodied persons - 1207 UAH;



for the unemployed and persons with disabilities - 2093 UAH;

for children under six years old - 2953 UAH;

for children under 18 – 3682 UAH;

for children under 23 years old (subject to training) - 3489 UAH.

The applicant has the right to choose a convenient way to pay assistance: by transfer to a bank account or with delivery by Ukrposhtoya.
