To obtain the appropriate status, you need to confirm it - get a certificate of the parents of a large family / certificate of a child from a large family. For children from a large family, certificates are issued from the age of 6, and when the child reaches the age of 14, a new photo is pasted into the certificate.
To obtain a certificate, you can apply to one of the bodies of the applicant's choice (regardless of place of residence):.

To extend the validity of the certificate after 18 years (up to 23 years), if the child is a full-time student in general secondary, vocational (vocational), vocational higher, higher education - a certificate from the educational institution.
In case of registration of remarriage and residence with children from a previous marriage - documents confirming the fact that the child was raised by one of the parents (a copy of the court decision indicating the place of residence of the child with one of the parents; a copy of the court decision on deprivation of parental rights; a copy of the death certificate of one parent, etc..
