The Russian army suffered significant losses at the front in personnel and equipment. In particular, the missile, tank and artillery potential of the aggressor country has seriously decreased. This was announced by the International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS).
“Russia was unable to gain an air superiority over Ukraine and relied mainly on attacks using its land-based attack cruise missiles, depleting its inventory,” analysts say.
That is why, IISS believes, Moscow has turned to the import of Iranian drones..
“The tank and artillery fleets of Russia have undergone a significant reduction. About 50% of the pre-war fleet of modern T-72B3 and T-72B3M are considered lost. In addition, the composition of the Russian inventory has changed. Since modern vehicles were destroyed, Russia tried to save its fleet by removing used vehicles from the warehouse,” the IISS report says..
