The National Information Bureau (NIB) recalls that excessive specificity in media coverage of the topic of being in captivity can complicate the process of releasing prisoners of war, writes Telegram - the channel of the Ministry for the Reintegration of Temporarily Occupied Territories.

avoid excessive specificity in public statements about human rights violations (torture, conditions of detention) during captivity;
not to publish photo and video materials on which prisoners of war;
in conversations with the media, emphasize the need for Russia to comply with the norms of the Geneva Conventions.
