He noted that, first of all, the most important part in calculating the amount for electricity does not depend on the distribution system operator or supplier, but on the consumer.. All he needs is to transmit the meter readings in a timely manner.

After submitting the readings, the CCP calculates the amount of consumption of the client. This data is then transmitted to YASNO.

“We multiply the volume by the tariff, take into account the overpayment or debt and issue the final invoice. No magic or tricks. Clients who regularly submit testimony know this and usually do not have questions about the amount in the invoice,” Kovalenko emphasized..

Consumers who do not report meter readings may receive a large amount in the payment. In it, the distribution system operator calculates their consumption volume in terms of average daily consumption.

What to do if the meter readings are not transmitted on time.

If it happened that it was not possible to transmit the readings of the electricity meter on time, then the consumer will first have to pay the entire amount that came due to the untimely submitted readings. And from next month it should be submitted on time, and then recalculation will already take place.

It is important that the overpayment for the previous month will not go anywhere - it will be taken into account in the payment for the next.
