Therefore, we are announcing the creation of a structure of mentors for veterans in the system of the Ministry of Veterans Affairs of Ukraine, such an “army of veteran mentors,” she explained..

It is assumed that about 10 thousand people will be mentors - mostly these are also veterans, because the program is based on the principle of “peer to peer”. Each community will have a person who will take care of a certain number of veterans.

These people will help combatants overcome bureaucracy, inform, simplify the conditions for obtaining services, and, if necessary, go with them for the necessary information..

The project has already been supported by the government, it will be implemented by specialists from the Ministry of Veterans Affairs together with local governments.
