After the growth of new Russian mobilized in the temporarily occupied Melitopol, the Russians increased pressure on the local population and forcibly demanded to obtain a Russian passport. Mayor Ivan Fedorov announced this in his Telegram.

In order to force civilians to obtain a Russian passport, according to Fedorov, the occupiers introduced a number of restrictions in the city:.

– it will be difficult to do business without a Russian passport;

– holders of Ukrainian passports were deprived of the opportunity to receive some social benefits;

– from March 1, only holders of Russian passports will receive pensions;

– Russian passports required for re-registration of a car;

– in the absence of a Russian passport, it will be impossible to own property.

" And they think that they will be able to conquer people.

Despite the pressure and intimidation, even with Russian passports that they will be forced to take in order not to die of hunger, the unconquered residents of the TOT remain loyal to Ukraine and most of all expect victory,"
