Cabinet of Ministers by Decree No. 859 dated 11. 08. 2021 set electricity prices for household consumers in Ukraine from October 1, 2021, which will be valid in February 2023.

For households consuming electricity:.

up to 250 kWh (inclusive) per month - payment is made at the rate of UAH 1.44 (including VAT) per 1 kWh.

over 250 kWh per month - at the rate of UAH 1.68 (including VAT) per 1 kWh.

For collective household consumers and dormitories (for the entire volume of consumption), the tariff for electricity is 1.68 UAH (including VAT) per 1 kWh.

Such residential electricity tariffs will not increase until at least March 31, 2023.

Why the amount in the payment does not decrease during power outages.

Experts explained that after the resumption of light, household appliances and appliances consume more electricity..

How can you save on electricity bills?.

Separate day and night tariffs will help to slightly reduce the amount in payments.

For example, the tariff "

50% of the fixed price for consumption from 23:00 to 07:00 (during the hours of the night minimum load of the power system) - 0.72 UAH / kW and 0.84 UAH / kW for consumption up to 250 kW and more than 250 kW, respectively;

100% fixed price - from 7:00 to 23:00 (other hours of the day) - 1.44 UAH / kW and 1.68 UAH / kW for consumption up to 250 kW and more than 250 kW, respectively.

The three-zone electricity tariff works as follows:.

150% of the fixed price - from 8:00 to 11:00 and from 20:00 to 22:00 (during peak hours of the power system) - 2.16 UAH / kW and 2.25 UAH / kW for consumption up to 250 kW and more;

100% fixed price - from 7:00 to 8:

00, from 11:00 to 20:00 and from 22:00 to 23:00 (during the semi-peak period) - 1.44 UAH / kW and 1.68 UAH / kW;

40% of the fixed price - from 23:00 to 07:00 (during the hours of the night minimum load of the power system) - 0.576 UAH / kW and 0.672 UAH / kW for consumption up to 250 kW and more than 250 kW, respectively.
