President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and First Lady Olena Zelenska took part in a farewell ceremony for the leadership of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, who tragically died on January 18 in a helicopter crash in Brovary.

The President expressed condolences to their families and noted that Ukraine is losing its best sons and daughters every day.

Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said it was a big loss for the government team.

" This tragedy left a scar on every Ukrainian. Someone lost their mother, father. And someone lost a child. It's impossible to describe in words how sad this is.. Among the victims of the disaster are also our colleagues,"

On Saturday in Brovary they also said goodbye to five-year-old Milana and her mother, who died in a kindergarten during a helicopter crash.
