UN delivers humanitarian aid to Soledar neighborhood for the first time

A UN humanitarian convoy has reached an area near the city of Soledar in eastern Ukraine, where the most intense fighting has been going on in recent weeks.. In the near future, 800 Ukrainians will be able to receive food and basic necessities. This was reported by the representative of the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA) Jens Larke.

According to him, the aid contains food, water, hygiene kits and medicines for 800 people.. This is the first inter-agency convoy to reach the area since the start of the war..
