12.3% of Ukrainians surveyed consider these events " In 2020, 30.7% of respondents thought so.
However, if in the western and central regions of Ukraine the assessment of the events on the Maidan was generally more positive even earlier, then in the eastern and southern regions the situation has changed radically.
So, in the south of the country, 36.1% of respondents gave a positive assessment of the Maidan (against 23.3% in 2020). 24.4% still have a bad attitude towards these events, although in 2020 there were 49.6% of such events.
A similar situation is in the eastern regions, where today the Maidan events were positively assessed by 50.4% of respondents (against 23.5% in 2020). A negative assessment was given to them by 21.8% (against 56.1% just over two years ago).
In the Center of Ukraine, 72.2% of voters positively assessed the events of 2013-2014 (against 64.2% in 2020). The opposite assessment was given by 9.7% (against 22.8% earlier).

Only in the West of Ukraine, the number of Maidan supporters has decreased - from 87.1% in 2020 to 81.9% today. The number of his opponents also decreased - from 5.8% to 5%..
The new survey was conducted from 13 to 21 December 2022 in all regions except Donetsk and Lugansk, as well as the Autonomous Republic of Crimea. In other regions, it was carried out in the territories controlled by Ukraine and where there are no hostilities.. A total of 2018 respondents were interviewed, the sampling error is no more than 2.3%.
