Despite the war, Ukraine continues to pay pensions and other social benefits. Pension provision for persons discharged from military service and some other persons is carried out in accordance with the law “On pension provision for persons discharged from military service and certain other persons”, which determines the conditions, norms and procedure for pension provision for military personnel. Recalculation of military pensions: who can apply for it.

According to Article 63 of the law, all assigned pensions are subject to recalculation in connection with a change in the amount of at least one type of monetary allowance for military personnel, or in connection with the introduction of new monthly additional types of monetary allowance (allowances, additional payments, increases) and bonuses in the amount established by law. The recalculation of pensions is carried out at the time of the emergence of the right to recalculate pensions and is carried out in the manner established by the Cabinet of Ministers.

For persons specified in Articles 1, 3 and 4 of the Law of Ukraine " These include:.

persons from among the military personnel (except military servicemen) of ordinary, sergeant, foreman and officer staff;

persons in command and rank and file of the internal affairs bodies of Ukraine, police officers, employees of the Judicial Security Service, persons in command of the tax police, persons with special ranks of the Bureau of Economic Security of Ukraine, persons in command and rank and file of the State Penitentiary Service of Ukraine, persons in command and rank and file;

citizens who were injured or disabled as a result of being in paramilitary units, persons who were injured or disabled directly while participating in the ATO or JFO, partisans, underground workers, volunteers, paramilitary security workers who are not subject to state social insurance, and members of their families;

persons from among the military servicemen of fixed-term service and family members of persons from among the military personnel of private, sergeant, foreman and officers and some other persons entitled to a pension under this Law, in the cases provided for by this Law;

civil servants and employees of educational, medical institutions and research institutions of the Ministry of Internal Affairs or the police from among the former police officers who, as of the date of publication of the Law of Ukraine \;

persons entitled to pensions on an equal footing with officers, military servicemen of long-term service and military service under the contract and members of their families;

persons of the commanding staff of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine;

women voluntarily accepted into active military service as soldiers, sailors, sergeants and foremen and members of their families.
