Despite the war, Ukraine continues to pay pensions and other social benefits. For the most vulnerable categories of citizens in Ukraine, some benefits are provided. The Ministry of Social Policy told what benefits large families can count on.

Who is considered a large family.

A large family is a family in which the spouses are married, live together and raise three or more children, including each of the spouses, or one parent (one mother), who (who) lives with three or more children and.

The structure of a large family also includes children who study full-time in general education, vocational and higher educational institutions - until graduation, but not longer than until they reach 23 years of age.

Benefits for large families.

In Ukraine, large families can receive the following benefits:.

50% discount on payment for the use of housing (rent) within the limits stipulated by the current legislation (21 sq.. meters of total housing area for each family member permanently residing in a residential building (house), and an additional 10.5 sq.. meters per family);

50% discount on payment for the use of utilities (gas, electricity and other services) and the cost of liquefied bottled gas for domestic needs within the limits established by law. The area of \u200b\u200bhousing, for which a discount is provided when calculating payment for heating, is 21 sq.. meter of heated area for each family member permanently residing in a residential area (house), and an additional 10.5 sq.. meters per family;

50% discount on the cost of fuel, including liquid, within the limits determined by law, if the respective houses do not have central heating;

emergency installation of residential telephones.

The subscription fee for using a residential telephone is set at 50% of the approved tariffs.

The Ministry of Social Policy noted that benefits on payment for the use of housing (rent), utilities and fuel costs, provided for in paragraphs 1-3, are provided to families with many children, regardless of the type of housing and ownership of it.
