Israel will provide Ukraine with intelligent warning technology for missiles and drones in the form of assistance, Ambassador Yevhen Korniychuk said at a briefing at the Ukraine Media Center on Friday, January 13.

“Work continues on the transfer of Israeli technologies related to intelligent missile and drone warning. That is, this technology is officially transferred by the Israeli side. And I think that after some time we will get it completely,"

He added that there are no significant changes in other aspects of relations between the countries, but there are prospects.

“This is not quite what we expect. But in order to have specifics on Iranian drones, we need a few more weeks, because the government has just started work,” the diplomat said..

Korniychuk noted that Israel is reluctant to share its own developments, in particular, because it is waging its own war.

“Unfortunately, not everything can be discussed publicly, but certain shifts are already going in a positive direction.. And I hope they will be bigger,” he commented on the change of government in Israel.

“You can’t say that nothing is happening. We are talking about the fact that much more can be done, and we are working on it,” he concluded..

Recall that after a recent telephone conversation between Israeli Foreign Minister Eli Cohen and his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov, Ukrainian Ambassador Yevgeny Korniychuk noted that this indicates a change in the official policy of Jerusalem.

Against the backdrop of the formation of a new Israeli government, as well as the strengthening of the informal alliance between Russia and Iran, Bankova Street hopes to improve defense cooperation between Ukraine and Israel. How this is possible, Vladimir Kravchenko figured out in his article for ZN. UA "
