From January 1, 2023, the Pension Fund of Ukraine (PFU) is the authorized body in the system of compulsory state social insurance. Bodies of the Pension Fund will appoint and pay different types of insurance payments, writes the press service of the Pension Fund.

Types of insurance payments you can receive.

Ukrainians, in order to resolve issues on the appointment, recalculation and implementation of insurance payments for compensation for damage caused to the victim as a result of an accident at work and / or occupational disease or persons, must now apply to the bodies of the Pension Fund of Ukraine.

There are such types of insurance payments that can be received from PFCs:.

temporary disability assistance - paid in the amount of 100% of the average salary (the first 17 days at the expense of the insured, starting from the 18th day - at the expense of social insurance funds);

one-time assistance in case of a permanent loss of professional ability to work, is assigned on the basis of a certificate from MSEK; its size is determined depending on the degree of loss of professional ability to work on the basis of seven minimum wages established by law on the day the right of the victim to the insurance payment (from 1. 10. 2022 minimum wage - UAH 6,700);

monthly insurance payments - are established in accordance with the degree of loss of professional ability to work and the average monthly salary of the victim before the occurrence of the insured event; the minimum amount of the assigned monthly payment to the victim in terms of 100% disability cannot be less than the minimum wage, the maximum - should not exceed four minimum wages;

payments in case of transfer to a lighter, lower-paid job - the victim retains his average monthly salary for a period determined by the VCC or MSEK (the first 14 days, the additional payment is made at the expense of the insured, starting from the 15th day - at the expense of social insurance funds);

monthly payments to a child born with a disability due to an injury at work or an occupational disease of his mother during pregnancy are made until the child reaches the age of 18, or until graduation, but not more than until the age of 23;

insurance payments to disabled family members in the event of the death of the victim: one-time assistance to the family (in the amount of 40 minimum wages (40 x 6,700 UAH \u003d 268,000 UAH); a one-time payment to each person who was in his care (in the amount of 8 minimum wages (8 x 6700 UAH \u003d 53 600 UAH); monthly insurance payments (determined from the average monthly salary of the victim; the amount of payments to each person entitled to them is determined by dividing the part of the salary of the victim attributable to these persons by their number).

What documents are needed to receive a payment.

The application, together with the documents necessary for the appointment, transfer, extension and implementation of insurance payments and social services, is submitted:.

in paper form in person, or through an authorized representative, to the territorial body of the Pension Fund of Ukraine (service center);

in electronic form through the web portal of electronic services of the Pension Fund of Ukraine using a qualified electronic signature or electronic system BankID or through the portal "

The decision on the appointment, transfer, extension and implementation of insurance payments and social services is made within 10 days after the receipt of the application with all the necessary documents, taking into account the information received by the Pension Fund body that assigns the insurance payment, information from state electronic information registers and databases.

The decision based on the results of consideration of the application is drawn up by a resolution signed by the head of the body that assigns the insurance payment, and is stored in the electronic file of the recipient of such payment.
