Deputy Prime Minister for the Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories Irina Vereshchuk urged internally displaced persons to look for work in a new place in safe regions. This is stated in the official statement of the Ministry of Reintegration.

As Vereshchuk noted, among the internally displaced persons there are many active citizens who, after moving, did not rely only on assistance from the state, but got a job and feel good in a new place..

“Many of them are ready to stay in the communities where they moved. First of all, this is the result of successful integration and evidence that the hard work of Ukrainians has always come in handy in the most difficult conditions..

This is how it is today,"

“Employment of IDPs requires the initiative of two parties – those who need work and those who provide it. So I appeal to both. I urge employers to meet the needs of the displaced people and actively provide them with work. I urge migrants not to wait, to find employment more actively and improve their lives,” she added..

Recall, earlier, the Norwegian Immigration Office reports that refugees from Ukraine in 2022 made up the majority of those who applied for shelter..
