The State Emergency Service of Ukraine has launched an interactive map of mined areas. A special page has been created for the map on the website of the State Emergency Service.

The map shows the places where the sappers have already discovered or suspect the presence of explosive ordnance. Locations are marked with different colors (yellow and red) depending on the degree of threat, the error is about 30 meters.

The State Emergency Service advises Ukrainians to use the information when traveling to areas where hostilities took place.

" Thousands of ammunition remains undetonated after enemy shelling. Mines and other explosive objects can be found in abandoned houses, on the streets, in playgrounds, in fields, forests, on roadsides,"

If a suspicious object is found, the rescuers recommended not to touch them, move at least 100 meters away, prevent the cordon, mark the place with clothes, sticks, signs or other available means, inform the emergency services. Official numbers to report explosives: 101 (GSChS) and 102 (National Police).

To view the map, you need to open the site from any device or download the mobile application on your smartphone - the State Emergency Service has posted links to pages in the App Store and Google Play.
