Due to the Russian military intervention, many Ukrainians were forced to leave their homes and become internally displaced persons (IDPs). IDPs can apply for a subsidy to pay for housing and communal services. The Ministry of Reintegration told how this can be done and what documents are needed.

Internally displaced persons can apply for a subsidy for utility bills.
The subsidy is provided at the place of actual residence of the person. At the same time, the conclusion of a housing (lease) contract is not required, and the composition of the household is indicated by the applicant in the declaration.
Where do IDPs need to go to apply for a subsidy?.
IDPs can apply to one of the following bodies to receive a subsidy:.
authorized official of the executive body of the village, settlement, city council of the relevant territorial community;
administrative services center;
service center of the Pension Fund.

Applying for a subsidy: what documents do IDPs need.
To apply for a subsidy for utility bills, IDPs require the following documents:.
application for the appointment of a subsidy (in the prescribed form);
the right to income and expenses (in the prescribed form);
household occupant data;
passport, taxpayer registration number (RNUKNP);
certificate of IDP status.
