Ukraine returns two more children held by Russians

Ukraine returned two more children who were kept by the occupiers in the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine and in Russia, the Ministry of Reintegration reported.

11-year-old Mark and 18-year-old Daniil returned home. On October 17, their mother Yulia turned to the Ministry of Reintegration with a request to help evacuate her sons: Mark from the temporarily occupied Torez in the Donetsk region, Danila from Russia.

Julia was also captured by the invaders. She was released as a result of a " Once on the territory of free Ukraine, Yulia asked the Ministry of Reintegration to help return her sons.



The Ministry of Reintegration recalled that the Ukrainian authorities managed to return more than a hundred children from the occupiers during the war.

According to the Office of the Prosecutor General, as of the morning of December 17, 2022, more than 1,313 children were injured in Ukraine as a result of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation. 450 children died and more than 863 were injured of varying severity. The list of deported and forcibly displaced as of November included more than 10. 5 thousand children.
