Deputy Defense Minister Anna Malyar urged Ukrainians not to spread unverified information about de-occupied territories.

“A lot of information is being circulated about allegedly liberated settlements that do not correspond to reality.. Among those “liberated”, so to speak, in your posts there are settlements that are partially controlled by the Armed Forces of Ukraine and fighting continues there, and there are even those whose release is not planned for the next few days,” writes Malyar on Facebook.

When can you say that a settlement has been de-occupied

When law enforcers “cleaned up” the settlement and took stabilization measures.

“That is, if our troops physically entered a populated area, this does not automatically mean that we control it.. There may still be battles ahead and many special measures for liberation,” explains the Deputy Minister.

Information about the war should be read from official sources: the Supreme Commander (Office of the President) –> Minister of Defense (Ministry of Defense) –> Commander-in-Chief (AFU, General Staff) –> and only then other sources, preferably also verified.

Example.

A few days ago there was a message that our troops entered Balakliya. Today we finally established control in the city, took all the necessary measures and raised the flag. You can already find messages about this on the resources of the Ministry of Defense and the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Recall that over the past few days, the Armed Forces of Ukraine have liberated more than 30 settlements in the Kharkiv region, among them - Balakleya and Kupyansk.
