One in five Ukrainians will potentially have psychological disorders due to war - WHO

One in five in Ukraine is at risk of developing mental disorders such as depression and post-traumatic stress as a result of a full-scale war. This was announced by the co-chair of the Mental Health and Psychosocial Support Reference Group Fami Hanna at WHO headquarters in Geneva.

" This means that today in Ukraine 8.5 million people are potentially at risk of mental disorders such as depression, post-traumatic stress,"

WHO announced a discussion in two weeks with representatives of Poland, the Czech Republic, Hungary and other countries on the provision of psychological support to internally displaced persons from Ukraine.

" In two weeks, the WHO in Copenhagen will discuss with representatives of Poland, the Czech Republic, Hungary and other countries the issues of cooperation on mental assistance to Ukrainian migrants,"
