The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine has registered bill No. 7726, which proposes to exempt two more categories of men from conscription. This document provides for exemption from mobilization of citizens working as teachers in preschool educational institutions or coaches in state or municipal sports institutions.
According to the draft law, the above-mentioned persons may be exempted from conscription, provided that they work at least 0.75 of the wage rate.
Those who already serve in the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine want to be given the opportunity to demobilize and return to work. At the same time, these categories of men are offered to leave the right to be called up voluntarily..
The explanatory note states that the need for these changes is caused by an acute shortage of personnel, which also existed in peacetime and worsened due to the fact that many went abroad.
