The departure of men liable for military service abroad during martial law in Ukraine has been actively discussed in power circles over the past few months. From September 1, certain categories of conscripts should have been allowed to leave the country on bail in the amount of 200 thousand hryvnias, but Prime Minister Denys Shmihal delayed the signing of the decree due to the fact that it needs to be finalized in more detail. People's Deputy Daniil Getmantsev announced this.
According to him, there is nothing surprising in the fact that the єVіrdryadzhennya function did not start operating within the previously announced period.. Getmantsev stressed that such conditions for the departure of men liable for military service as the amount of bail, the term for returning home and their place of work in the decision are unreasonable.
“The initiators of the mechanism for conscripts to travel abroad proposed a solution intuitively, without proper calculations, which clearly did not convince society of its expediency. Where does the 20,000 salary figure come from If the average salary for January is UAH 14,577, and since then, according to the NBU, salaries have decreased by 12%. Where did the bail amount of 200 thousand people come from? Why exactly 200 and what is the nature of this payment in case of non-return of the employee? Fine?
But the fine is paid only on the basis of the law, not the experiment.. Why is a person released for a very short period of 7 days, increasing the risk of not returning on time? "
The deputy stressed that it is necessary to work on the issue of the departure of conscripts abroad, but to do it more carefully.
