The European Union will send ten million euros to support the Ukrainian education system. This was announced by Vice-President of the European Commission Margaritis Schinas during a briefing in Kyiv, Ukrinform writes..

" At the same time, millions of apprentices and students are starting a new academic year in Ukraine today.. We will make every possible effort to provide support and assistance to this category of the population both in the EU and in Ukraine,"

On his Twitter page, the EC Vice-President specified that the funds provided will be used both to ensure the security of offline learning and to support the distance learning process..

" Together with the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, we celebrate the beginning of the academic year in Kyiv with a sense of determination.

Starting today, the EU will provide 10 million euros to help provide safe places for physical education and support the distance learning program in Ukraine,"

In addition, according to Schinas, the European Union will provide Ukraine with all the necessary assistance in the matter of medical evacuation, and will also provide for the needs of patients from our state in Europe..
