Law enforcement officers continue to seize the assets of the Medvedchuk family. The Skole District Court of the Lviv region satisfied the lawsuit initiated by the Security Service of Ukraine and seized three more land plots that were illegally owned by Oksana Marchenko, wife of MP Viktor Medvedchuk suspected of high treason. This was reported by the press service of the SBU in Telegram.

As noted, the total cost of the mentioned allotments in the Lviv region reaches more than two million hryvnias.. Investigators found that they illegally passed into the ownership of Oksana Marchenko several years ago.

According to preliminary data from the SBU, in 2009 the district state administration made an unlawful decision to transfer a land plot in the tourist-attractive part of the Stryi region from the state to the ownership of a private company without paying any changes to the “Book of Records on State Registration of State Acts for Ownership”.

In order to seize property “legally”, later entrepreneurs indicated deliberately false information in official documents.. They divided the allotment into three separate sections, making them the property of the enterprise. Then they began to build tourism infrastructure there..

The investigation established that the ultimate beneficiary of the company that received these lands as its property is Marchenko, who was included in the sanctions lists of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine.

Currently, the process of transferring the assets of Medvedchuk's wife arrested by the Skole District Court to the National Agency for the Detection, Search and Management of Assets Obtained from Corruption and Other Crimes (ARMA) has begun.
