A difficult situation remains in the east of Ukraine, but the Armed Forces of Ukraine are holding back the pressure of the occupying forces and do not allow them to advance in the Avdiivka and Bakhmut directions. Over the past day, Ukrainian defenders repelled enemy attacks near Soledar, Nevelskoye, Prechistovka and Mayorsk. This was reported by the press service of the General Staff.

According to the Ukrainian military, in the direction of Kramatorsk, the defense forces repelled an attempt by the enemy to attack in the direction of Grigorivka. To clarify the position of our troops, the Russians conducted aerial reconnaissance of the UAV.

In the Bakhmut direction, the enemy fired on our troops in the areas of the settlements of Bakhmutskoye, Veselaya Dolina, Zaitsevo and Kodema. Separate enemy units attempted to improve the tactical situation in the directions of the settlements of Soledar, Zaitsevo and Mayorsk. Didn't have luck.

In the Avdeevka direction, the enemy tried to destroy important civilian and military infrastructure with the fire of tanks, cannon and rocket artillery. By offensive actions he tried to advance in the direction of Nevelskoy, but was rebuffed and retreated back.. On the Novopavlovsk direction, enemy units unsuccessfully fought an offensive battle in the direction of the settlement of Prechistovka.
